When providing various services for you or your business, we may have access to your checking, debit and credit account numbers, loan information and their balances, your income and the assets you own.
When we prepare your tax returns, we receive information from you which includes your legal name, address (physical and e-mail), social security number, telephone number (cell, business and home), income and expenses and other information concerning your family that is required for a correct tax return.
We are also provided, from time to time, information about you from the State of Alabama or the Internal Revenue Service concerning your tax information.
Section 7216 of the Internal Revenue Code states that we must have your consent to disclose your tax return information except to the IRS, law enforcement officials and for certain other legal purposes.
We do not sell or rent any information provided by our clients. We will provide, at your request, information to service providers such as bankers, attorneys, etc.
Security of Information
Our tax returns are processed using a national software vendor. We have reviewed and understand their policies and procedures that insure the security of information processed through their company. Our internal security of private information is protected through system design, password, firewalls and other information management practices. Our files have limited access to only those who provide services to you.
